The Formation and Safety Team (FAST) is a worldwide, educational organization dedicated to teaching safe formation flying in restored, vintage, military, and civilian aircraft. FAST is comprised of seventeen signatory organizations whose mission is to support education in the safe and responsible restoration, maintenance and operation of their members' aircraft.
Our mission is to facilitate the safe, professional operation of aircraft in a formation environment. We are a repository for documentation on best practices and information regarding formation proficiency standards, and we offer a connection to resources that can benefit aspiring and veteran formation pilots alike.
FAST offers all Reference Library documents for signatories to edit or extract material as necessary to meet the specific needs of their organization.
